Figma Designer with UX Strategy Expertise

The Figma Designer will be integral to our product development, offering significant contributions to the evolution of our user experience and interface design. As we aim to continue providing the most modern workforce management software, we need a passionate and dedicated individual to help us grow and maintain our existing designs while simultaneously developing new user experiences to support our expanding business needs.
We’re hiring for talent over location; this position can be located remotely, anywhere in the province of Quebec.
Responsibilities
Figma Design:
- Create intuitive, visually appealing interfaces using Figma
- Develop wireframes, mockups, and interactive prototypes
- Ensure designs adhere to usability and accessibility best practices
- Collaborate with product managers, developers, and other stakeholders to ensure feasibility and alignment with product goals
- Conduct usability testing and iterate on designs based on feedback.
UX Strategy (in collaboration with the Product Manager):
- Conduct user research to understand needs, behaviors, and pain points.
- Develop a UX strategy aligned with business goals.
- Create user personas, journey maps, and experience maps.
- Define and monitor KPIs for UX success.
Advocacy and Best Practices:
- Champion user-centered design principles and advocate for best UX practices across the team.
- Promote a culture of continuous improvement in UX through regular feedback and collaboration.
- Stay updated with the latest UX trends, tools, and best practices, and share insights with the team.
Requirements
- 3+ years of experience in UI/UX design and strategy.
- Strong portfolio showcasing Figma expertise and successful UX/UI projects.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
- Ability to balance strategic thinking with detailed design execution.
- Strong ownership mentality and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Familiarity with front-end development languages (HTML, CSS, JavaScript) is a plus (the role doesn’t imply any front-end development).
- Bilingual in English and French is preferred.
